Childnet
- Website Redesign
ChildNet, the Community Based Care lead agency for Broward and Palm Beach Counties, is a nonprofit dedicated to protecting abused, abandoned, and neglected children by managing local support systems. Guided by a family-centered, strength-based approach, ChildNet prioritizes safety, permanency, and developmental growth while fostering strong partnerships with caregivers, service providers, and the community.
Challenge
ChildNet serves as the Community Based Care (CBC) lead agency in both Broward and Palm Beach Counties. Their mission is to protect abused, abandoned and neglected children in the communities they serve. Their website needed to:
- Provide critical resources for prospective and existing foster parents.
- Share important statistical data that demonstrates impact.
- Facilitate online fundraising efforts.
Solution
We began our project by conducting an in-depth review of ChildNet’s original website design, navigation, and content. Based on our findings, we implemented a redesign that included and updated sitemap and content to make user navigation easier on both desktop and mobile.
Results
ChildNet’s new website has a modern design that better reflects who they are, what they do, and why. Some key highlights include updating content with impactful imagery and storytelling. Additionally, we’ve received lots of great feedback that the site is now easier for donors to navigate.
