The Boys & Girls Club of Broward County is dedicated to helping young people—especially those who need it most—reach their full potential as caring, responsible, and productive citizens. Rooted in a proud national legacy dating back to 1860, the Club provides a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment where every child is supported on their path to academic success, character development, and healthy living.
Challenge
The Boys and Girls Club of Broward provides a safe, nurturing child care for boys and girls in underserved communities in the Fort Lauderdale area. Their website is a crucial tool to engage kids, parents, donors, and volunteers while providing updates about programming available to members. The Club had a need for an updated website that could help them gain new members, donors, and volunteers.
Solution
We held a key stakeholder meeting to analyze what was (and was not) working on their current website. We discovered The Boys & Girls Club of Broward needed a mobile-friendly website that could better meet the needs of their online community. Additionally, we uncovered a need for unique navigation paths that would appeal to kids, teens, parents, and donors.
Results
In the end, their new mobile-friendly website utilizes storytelling with a modern design and engaging animations. The new website also features quick navigation to easily guide kids, teens, parents, and donors to curated content most relevant to them.
